SPbU got in the top 100 world’s universities in the Round University Ranking (RUR) in the field of humanities and was ranked 91st in the world, having moved from the Golden League to the Diamond League.

The Center of Additional Educational Programs in the Field of Russian as a foreign language conducted the methodological seminar, in which the course teachers of RFL took part. The seminar has been held for several years under the guidance of O.V. Antsiferova, the Candidate of Philological Sciences. It is an ongoing research and practice seminar in the field of practical methods of teaching RFL.

At the methodological seminar the following questions were discussed:
· The intermediate test of the module A1.1: commentaries, remarks, proposals. A brief review of the test and its areas of concern.
· "A noun in the context of RFL". T.N. Kolosova gave a report on this linguistic and methodological topic.
· Questionnaire of trainees.
