Foreign Students Attended a Victory Day Celebration Concert

On May 13, students from the Faculty of Philology and attendees of the Center of Additional Educational Programs in the field of Russian as a Foreign Language at SPbU, along with their teachers, attended a celebratory concert at the Large Concert Hall "October," dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.

The stage featured performances by the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Western Military District, the State Dance Ensemble "Barynya," and renowned artists Alena Petrovskaya, Oleg Minakov, Grigory Chernetsov, and Denis Maydanov. The evening was hosted by Honored Artist of Russia Mikhail Morozov.

Unique dances and vibrant musical numbers transported the audience to an era of heroism and courage, creating an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. The foreign students truly enjoyed the concert; they actively sang along to the well-known Soviet wartime songs performed by the artists. After the show, the students were reluctant to leave, taking photos and sharing their impressions of the experience.
