How to Get an Invitation
First, to participate in the program, you need to fill in the application form on our website. An invitation for obtaining a study visa is executed within 20 working days from the date of documents acceptance by the Directorate for Migration Affairs of the Russian Federation Ministry of the Interior. A copy of your invitation will be sent to your e-mail address. If required to provide the staff members of the Consulate of the Russian Federation with the original of your invitation, it will be sent to you by post. After receiving an invitation for studying, it is necessary to apply for a study visa in your country.
The invitation is issued for the period not exceeding 90 days. Your passport must be valid for at least 18 months from the date of your supposed entry into the Russian Federation.
For European Union’s citizens:
An invitation letter for obtaining a single entry visa for the period not exceeding 90 days without the possibility of its extension is executed within 5 days from the date of documents acceptance by the Directorate for Migration Affairs of the Russian Federation Ministry of the Interior.
On the individual base we accept for studies the persons who have reached the age of 18 years. Admission for studies of the persons aged 10-14 years is conducted mainly in organized groups and in the presence of an attendant of full age, as well as a letter of attorney for each under-age trainee.
Study Visa
For entering into the Russian Federation, you need to have a passport with a study visa.
Visa is not needed for the citizens of: the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of South Ossetia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Tajikistan, Ukraine, the Republic of Armenia, and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The citizens of the following countries can enter into the country based on national passports (national identity documents): the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Armenia, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Ukraine. The trainees from other countries, including the CIS, must have an international passport.
Where to Arrange a Study Visa
A Russian visa has to be obtained at the Consulate of the Russian Federation in your country. For detailed information, please, refer to the website of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation (MFA Russia).
Multi-Entry Visa
Initially foreign trainees obtain a single entry visa for the period, not exceeding 90 days. If the enrollment contract duration is longer than 3 months, you have to extend your visa by obtaining a multi-entry visa. For visa extension, you need to refer to the staff members of the Passports and Visas Department at the off. 306-A not later than 30 days before its expiry date.
The multi-entry visa can be issued for the period, not exceeding 1 year. For obtaining the multi-entry visa, you need to have a medical insurance and pay the stamp duty.
Foreign Citizens’ Medical Service
International students’ medical service is provided under a voluntary medical insurance policy (VHI). Each student has to purchase it at any health insurance company.
