International Round Table

On December 3rd a round-table meeting "The Values of the Multicultural World and Their Reflection in Training and Control Materials in Russian as a Foreign Language and Other Foreign Languages" took place. The organizers of the round-table meeting were the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language and the Methods of Its Teaching and the Center of Additional Educational Programs in the Field of Russian as a Foreign Language of SPbU. The event partner was Fergana State University.

More than 70 people participated in the meeting. The reports were given by K.A. Rogova, the Professor of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language and the Methods of Its Teaching of SPbU, V.I. Konkov, the Professor of the School of Journalism and Mass Communications of SPbU, S.Yu. Remizova, the general manager of the Publishing House "The Russian Language. Courses", and G.N. Davlyatova, the Associate Professor of Russian Philology of Fergana State University.

As part of the round-table meeting, the current foreign language teaching methods were analyzed, as well as new materials and methods, based on the principles of accounting the values of the multicultural world.
