Literary marathon dedicated to creative legacy of A. S. Pushkin

The Literary marathon dedicated to creative legacy of A. S. Pushkin has started at St Petersburg University (SPbU). The event involved the participation of lecturers from the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language and its Teaching Methods, foreign students - future philologists and journalists, as well as foreign attendees studying Russian on supplementary educational programs.

As part of the Literary marathon dedicated to creative legacy of A. S. Pushkin, from February 1st to 10th, foreign learners, along with lecturers, will take walks to literary landmarks where they will not only learn about the life and works of the great poet but also recite his poems. An interesting feature of the project is that not only students but also lecturers recite Alexander Sergeyevich's poems.

On the final day, February 10th, students and teachers will visit the site of A.S. Pushkin's duel at the Chyornaya Rechka, participate in city events, recite poems, and hear a story about the poet's final days. According to the authors' idea, the Literary Marathon will be culminated with a film that will include all the excursions and walks.
