«The club’s name in honor of two great thinkers appears to be anything but coincidental: in Confucius’ essays Lev Tolstoy found similar ideas of world brotherhood and humanism, the demand for which is especially high nowadays. At another point, the ideology of information systems design, laid in the 2.0 technology, promotes the product quality improvement – in our case it is educational cooperation — by close engagement of all its participants,», A.V. Korotyshev, the Director of the Secretariat of MAPRYAL, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Internationalization of Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, noted.
As part of the club meeting, the strategy for work of Russian educational institutions with Chinese partners was discussed.
